This morning I decided to take my little boy to some WERA races at Nelson Ledges. The drive was only 2 1/2 hours one way. We packed some snacks and drinks and went the see what this track was all about (May be doing my second race with FASTTRAX on May 19 & 20 so wanted to check it out)

I saw alot of friends there (Rich, Brent, Bill, John, Rob, Mike, and the others.... I'm so bad with names) and it was nice to actually spend time with my little boy to show him what mommy loves to do, watch some races, talk with friends, take pictures, and just have a simple day in a place I just love to be...and to share that with big D was just awesome.

Anyway, here's some pictures.

Still not sure about doing WERA at Grattan or FASTTRAX at Nelson the weekend of May 19th (still working on that) but I will be somewhere

Also, way to go John, wearing an orange shirt and making it second place in one of the senior races

You had me thinking for a bit.....I knew that WERA was running Barberthis weekend and you come posting pics of Nelson. I looked at the schedule and they have both tracks this weekend, Barber is a national.
