An addiction no rehab can cure
bwhip's MoM Race and Photography Reports
It was a pretty fun weekend for racing and photography at Miller. Temps in the 60's and sunny. Perfect racing weather, and pretty darn good for photography, too. I even got to wear shorts and a golf shirt for the first time this year (kinda sunburned today, unfortunately )
Full report and photos on my blog:

?
Is the #66 bike the "missing" bike?
Nice write up and great photo's.
...dude you ride an offroad bike with slicks, 1/2 the weight of a GS, double the suspension, with a browning 50 cal going off 32" from your skull as a daily freaking driver - I'd expect anything except a nitro dragbike to be bland by comparison - SSG

Thanks! #66 is actually my buddy Tyler Cenarrussa, who painted my helmet and bodywork.

It was kind of cool to have a couple of very fast guys come and join us this weekend for the racing. Scott Jensen (#61 in the pictures), AMA regular who is quite quick, wound up winning the King of the Mountain GTO race (our premier race).
Jason DiSalvo drove up from Vegas with his wife, and borrowed a near-stock GSXR-600 from a buddy of ours. Wound up setting some of the fastest laps of the entire weekend by anyone, on any bike, and won the races he entered. Amazing. Apparently, it's more the rider than the bike.
Everyone really seemed to enjoy having him there. He was really friendly with all the racers, whether novice, expert, or in between. He helped a bunch of people who asked for guidance with their riding. He definitely made a lot of friends and gained some new fans. You'll see him on bike #49/#99 in the pictures.

BWhip, you are one talented man. I am not one that read much (sadly) but when you post stuff like that, I truly enjoy it... it's like I can picture being there and enjoy the moment. Pretty cool in my book
Bravo!
Thanks very much, my friend! It's always nice to hear when people like what I do.

The hype is low.
Indeed. You do great work.
Very cool to hear about DiSalvo. Its always great to hear of such things with racers, especially when pro guys compete at the club level.
Hopefully, I'll be able to make it down there this summer for a race or two.

Nice work, B, both on and off the track! Too bad your ride let you down for the other race, but I like how you salvaged the moment and decided to grab some action shots. That is the spirit of a champion.

Nice work Brian and congrats on the podium finish in your first race... After a long winter you've had no trouble shaking the rust. I'm jealous!

Turns out the Aprilia had a blown fuse. We checked all the ones in the fuse box, but this particular one, which enables the battery to get recharged, isn't in the box.
Bike is running great now and is ready for round two this weekend on the west track. Now if it would just quit raining...

I think he means the UtahSBA race during the WSBK weekend.
