Great weekend to be at Miller Motorsports Park!

Pretty fun out here this weekend! It's Round Six of the Masters of the Mountain series that I race in (on the West track), but there's much more! The AHRMA guys are here with their very cool retro bikes and sidecars (East track), and the AMA Supermoto racers are here too (on the supermoto track)!

I took a bunch of pictures today. The sidecars were really cool. Here are a few:

I've always loved sidecar racing. I don't know whether I would like being the monkey or the driver best. Thanks for the photos. Nice job!

I'm not sure what's going on in Pic #4?

I would have loved to watch the sidecars and supermoto.

you talking about the mohawks or the butt sniffing?

they're probably on the straight so they get behind each other.

Actually that's Christine setting up for a right hand corner, note the candy stripe on the inside edge of the photo. She gets to the inside and forward to help get the weight over on the right side of the rig and plant the front tire so Wade can hold traction on the front wheel through the corner on the power to keep the front wheel from 'pushing' or understeering on exit. As they exit she'll slide back more over the rear wheel to control wheelspin and yaw on the rear wheel and steer Wade out of the corner.

On the straights she'll slide down on the middle of the platform and literally curl up in a ball as small as possible to tuck down behind the bodywork to present the smallest aerodynamic profile.
