See that is what is wrong with Americans today..... When I was a kid.... my dad would have looked at me and said what are you crying for you Candy-Ass, get on that bike and stop crying before I really give you something to cry about! So my advice is stop the whimping and whining, get your fragile little butt back on the saddle and finish it off...... As Adam Sandler said in Billy Madison You go out there and find that F#C*ING dog!

I jest a little, but the concept of "Suck it Up" and take it from people in general is weak.
I work with the football team with the lineman and a kids actual asked if he could sit out of practice, because he had a bruised thigh..... I fell apart laughing almost to the point of tears.

I'm guessing that this kid's situation was different though since with a deep bruise like I had you'd notice right away if he couldn't put any weight on it. Jeez, I remember playing football in high school and we could have had broken bones and we'd still want to play until the coaches wouldn't let us!
