Wish me Luck
My first race is tomorrow afternoon... and it's gonna be a soggy one. I've fitted rain tires and embossed CBR letters so I'm all ready to kick some ass.
Most of tomorrow will be practice, tech, registration and setup, with the first novice race taking place in the afternoon. Tomorrow morning will be the second novice race, and if I graduate, I'll be able to race in Middleweight amateur tomorrow afternoon. I've got a great team of experienced racers to mentor me. My strategy will be to ride as smooth and consistently as possible, and pace myself over the 8 laps. I've been pushing myself into denial to suppress the butterflies, but I'm sure they'll be fluttering away furiously in about 12 hours. Pics and report to come...
