Run ... run like the wind

Good luck on the adventure. Do you get to do both tracks (short and long) or is the series just on one of them?

There's a little of everything,

Round 1 Fabi Track
Round 2 Nelson Track
Round 3 Long track
Round 4 Pro Track and so on and so on....

Right on... Good luck to you. Curious... Why Shannonville as opposed to tremblant or calabogie?

Shannonville is the only places with races.... Only track days everywhere else.

it's bumpier than hell and lots of concrete to asphalt patches, but it should make for some interesting times.

What is the name of the series you're going to be competing in?

Very cool. I took a FAST school a while back and we did the short course (Nelson) and I guess Fabi (the other half) on consecutive days. Definitely a variety when you can get 4 different tracks in one location. Those 2 had completely different feel to them.

Shannonville is a club level track like Grattan which makes it a lot more affordable than the high buck tracks. I forget the numbers from when I was racing, but I think the costs (to organize and run) were over double to run at Mid-Ohio than they were at Grattan and Gingerman.

No, I can't claim to be a Canadian, but my wife is ... does that count

I have some VFR friend who go there a lot, one of which is a local to Shannonville, and we had a group outing. I think they have done it every year for the last several, but I only made it to one. It was a fun track. Most of my trips through Canada have just been to pick up my friend in Belleville and then head east to VT/NH to play

Sounds like you have the best of both worlds... hahaha canadian girls kick a$$

Next time you are anywhere near you should drop me a pm, I'd be up for a good tour sometime. especially with some V4 people... If you'll take a lowly 6th gen, vtec VFR in your ranks

Belleville is about 2 hours from me.

I'll keep that in mind. I don't get through that way much anymore since the boarder crossings got more difficult. Keep the week end after Laborday (Sept. 9th) open for VT/NH ... Lots of V4's.

WDGAH: We Don't Give a Hoot Main Page has information from last year.

We even let the yellow ones join in.
That is me in the red vest off to the left.

We go fast there too ... needed to get something on topic

Holy... that is a LOT of vfr's I'd be one of the only 6th gens by the look of it. Nice group for a ride though.

Let me know and I'll try my best.

I think that JBD obsession with "going fast" started after passed him last year...

I don't think you should get a 600 after all. Not big enough to carry that ego of yours around.

I think we had 80 bikes one year, with maybe 15 of them not being VFRs. most years we are around 40-50 people. Great group and great area. I'll post up when it is time.

I think that was maybe 3 years ago. You showed up so few times I thought you'd be able to remember ... maybe look back at your business expenses for the gas mileage while you had teleconferences both ways
