Short Day Trip

Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Wash D.C., home to Delaware.

Good trip, lots of fun roads down in the Shenandoah area.

I don't think I could make the same trip on the 600rr I was drooling over in Winchester.

What's with all the words? You're going to crash the server.

Re: Short Day Trip

Well, I could tell you about the "stunna" that came up next to me on his Gixxer and pulled a wheelie at 80mph on Rt. 50.

I was especially impressed by his bright white sneakers, khaki shorts, and white tube socks pulled up to his knees. I think he bruised his beer gut on the tank when he dropped it back down too.

After two attempts, he pulled up next to me and looked over for approval. I don't think that the middle finger I gave him was what he had in mind.

Now that's more like it.

So how's that rig ride anyway?

Hiya Dux, where the heck have you been, and I don't mean your trip!? I know polishing 24 spinners takes a lot of time, but you gotta check in more often.

I am still amazed by the bike. Comfort for touring, stable on dirt/rock roads, and I'm very happily surprised by how much fun it is in the twists.

Almost 6k miles on it at this point. I haven't driven my truck to work in over a month. In fact I've used it so little in the past six months, that I've asked my wife to use it once or twice a week to keep it running!

I've been doing well. Keeping busy like everyone else.

I've been lurking on and off here. Very saddened to hear about RAH. I never met him, but it is obvious from everyone's posts that we lost a great one.

The spinners are still doing well. I was supposed to trade them in for a new ride, but it turns out that I will be sticking with this one for a while.

Actually we weren't moving much faster than the traffic. Just enough to keep joe/jane cell-phone from running over us from behind. No point in posting the evidence though!

Re: Short Day Trip

Sounds like a great trip

The Shenandoah area is beautiful! Might pass through there my self...
